Wing Quiver
The most unique feature of Plane Quiver are the specially designed wing inserts that have been developed to protect one, two and three piece wings in one removable pouch. These unique inserts have three wing pockets that will accept literally any wing configuration (one, two and three piece). These inserts fit in two specially designed pockets and are secured by velcro. The wings are secure and will not move or shift during transportation.
Wings can be inserted and removed from both ends of the Wing Quiver which are secured with velcro so the wings will not move or fall out during transport or storage.
Three Wing Pockets:
- Two of these pockets run the full length of the bag so you can either insert a center panel, one piece wing or one side of a two piece wing
- The middle pocket is divided in the middle and angled to receive the wing tips. Since these are angled, this allows you to insert the entire wing tip of a 3m plane with the joiners. The tips will not overlap or touch so they will be protected. (See Pictures)
Padding: The Wing Quivers have 4 layers of the poly-weave 400 micron U.V. stabilized bubble material. When you insert this into the Plane Quiver pouch, there are a total of 8 layers of padding protecting those valuable wings.
Wing quivers fit perfectly inside the Plane Quiver but can also be used individually to store and transport the wings. Nylon handles have been added for this purpose.
Wing Quivers are covered by high quality 400 Denier rip-stop nylon fabric so the wings will not be scratched. We also selected light gray to ensure that the bags reflect heat and U.V.
